We’ll be missing you, Allahyarhamah Yang Amat Bahagia Datin Seri Endon Mahmud, the beloved first lady of we Malaysians.
Surely you have had a meaningful life, Datin Seri. Your kid, Kamaluddin Abdullah, tauke of Scomi, has helped many in the street seeing their accounts multiplying.
And your son-in-law, Khairi Jamaluddin. He could’ve contributed ideas to the nation in much better ways, had the warlords not ridiculed his young age. Similarly, they blocked his way to becoming CEO of Khazanah Nasional Bhd at the last minute. What a loss for the nation.
And you have your adorable daughter, Nori, who, like Datuk Paduka Marina, supports and promotes liberalism. I sincerely wish you gals could do more. Our country need progress. I pray for her becoming the next Marina, outspoken and fearless.
I wonder who else will succeed you in promoting Nyonya Kebaya and Songket. Will your successors also support breast cancer awareness campaign, or help starving kids in North Korea, Bosnia Herzegovina or Kosovo like you ?
You have laid the foundation of such a fine legacy. I offer my deepest condolence to Datuk Seri, Nori, Kamaluddin and Khairy. May you rest in peace. May God bless your soul. Farewell, my dear first lady.
All of you us who wish to offer your condolence to PM, please visit this PMO page :
Thank you to all of you who criticized the previous version as distasteful (Bob), bad taste (Din), unfair and dissappointing (Lyn), bad taste and not at the most appropriate of times (David) and imporper (Ninetnine). The criticism is very much appreciated.

When someone dies, you must respect the ones survived by them, no matter who they are or what they have done. I find this ‘farewell’ done in bad taste.

It’s not fair to call the husband jellyfish when he’s in grief losing a wife.

This was done in bad taste and not at the most appropriate of times.

I don’t care if you have any political mess up with someone here… But by attacking your so-called ‘’enemies'’ at this time by that ‘’nice'’ farewell, for me personally it’s really improper. Hopefully that only represents your personal opinion, and not from your represented political agenda.

I certainly didn’t see the original version, but even in this one, i can tell that farewell you wish was being done in a crude manner. Wat’s up with you people against kebaya wei? All she was trying to do, was to ressurect the kebaya tradition. Something with value, you won’t want it lost. Cheers.
